[Ice Queen]
"Oh my, how quaint!" Sylviana exclaimed, covering her mouth with her delicate hand. Animals like birds were not fond of her generally - the winter scared them away, and her northern lands were only suitable for large predators such as wolves. There were always her ice familiars who kept her company though.
"The animals of this world tend not to take kindly to my powers but I can always-" With a flourish of her hand a small bird of ice appeared. "-Create my own." The bird opened its beak though no sound came out, before fluttering into the air. With a click of Ice Queens fingers it burst into snowflakes which danced and melted in the warm sun.

The girl found herself leaning closer to the Ice Queen's ice creature, it was fascinating, and absolutely beautiful in Verre's eyes. Just before she reached out to touch it, the Queen turned it back into it's original form. "Oh.." Verre let out, slightly disappointed that it had disappeared. It seemed the birds on her arm had taken notice of their ice counterpart as well, and flew off in a panic when it was reduced to snowflakes.
The birds' chirping snapped Verre out of her thoughts, realising it was rude, "Oh no, I mean it was very beautiful! I wish I could've looked at it longer!" she quickly clarified, beaming at the Snow Queen.
She turned around and waved at the birds that flew away before turning back to look at Sylviana again. "So where do you usually hang out in?" Cinderella asked inquisitively, tilting her head slightly.

"Well my castle at home is full of the creatures, I should invite you sometime." She said with a small, sly smile on her face. Truly if she met more good people in this place it would be fun to host some kind of festivity there - it was always so quiet and boring with just the ice to accompany her, music and people would certainly liven it up.
"Well my home tends to be quite boring during the summer months since I have no work to do, so I do enjoy this place and all the most..interesting people." She kept the part on how she liked to pull pranks on the people to herself.

"Really? You would? I would love to visit!" Verre brightened up, she would be jumping up and down if she wasn't on ice. "I mostly only spoke to the mice and doves back home. They're good company though, and very willing to help."
"What other creatures do you have? What are they like? Do you need to feed them?" The girl bombarded the Snow Queen with questions that came into mind.

"Unfortunately I don't have quite an affinity with creatures of flesh and blood, they tend to avoid me." This didn't particularly bother her, but it would be nice to have creatures not run away at the first sight of her.
"Well I can create pretty much anything I can think of, so long as they are made of ice and snow. There is this beautiful ice dragon who I am closest to, it is so gorgeous." She clasped her hands together remembering its huge, sharp teeth and intimidating visage. So adorable. "They don't need sustenance since they are not exactly alive, but they do enjoy water, some even like to swallow rocks."

"Not to worry! I can call them with my voice if you want to see them!" Verre offered, she was more than happy to be of help in her own way. Although her powers were mostly limited to birds and mice. Although other creatures tend to be kind to her as well, they're not as receptive to her singing.
"Wow, that's amazing! I'll be sure to gather some rocks when I visit! I-I mean when you allow me to of course!" Verre spoke, and continued skating circles around the Snow Queen, she was sure she was getting the hang of it now.

"Don't worry about it darling, though of course I'd never turn down an opportunity to hear your lovely voice again." She replied, with a quick wink and small smile.
"Of course, you can visit any time, though the environment can be somewhat hostile as you could imagine." she said, spinning and creating patterns on the ice where Verres skates made marks.

"Thank you so much, and I'd love to sing for you again!" Verre paused her skating, and clasped her hands together.
"Oh, but I'm sure I'll be fine, I just hope I don't get lost.." the girl trailed off, she had gotten lost so many times she had lost count. Cinderella always found her way back though, so she was still safe. Of course the birds have probably helped her many times too, even if it was without her knowledge.

"I can always create a path for you, or send a familiar to guide you." It seemed like this girl had a pretty bad sense of direction, it was rather cute.
"Anyway," She said, skating over to Cinderella's side and taking her hand. "I think it would be best for me to unfreeze this area. My mischief has gone on long enough and I would rather not be around to face the mermaids wrath." She began to move over towards the edge of the water, gently pulling the other girl along with her.

"Really? That would be really helpful. Thank you for the offer!" Verre said excitedly, the Snow Queen was such a nice person, she wondered why other creatures avoided her.
Cinderella held on to the Snow Queen's hand as she led her out of the ice, that was all the fun she could have on ice for today it seems.
The girl giggled at the Sylviana's words, "Yeah they might be a little angry for being in cold water for so long. Some of them sing with me though! They can be pretty nice too." The girl spoke as she stepped onto grass again, it felt good after being on ice for so long.

"Well I would prefer not to be around when they surface either way." She replied, letting go of Verres hand. "I don't exactly have the best representation."
Turning away from Cinderella she focused on the lake, the ice thawing to a thin frost. "It won't become entirely warm again until I leave." She turned back to Cinderella with her small, somewhat flirtatious, smile on her lips. "I will see you again, sweetheart."

"Oh okay." Cinderella replied, rubbing her hands together after coming into contact with the Ice Queen, she was as cold as her name suggests.
"Alright! I'll see you around then!" Verre bid Sylviana good bye and then moved a little further away from the water. It was better not to be near potentially angry mermaids and fishes.
Verre happily walked on to a familiar path, it was time for her to head back as well. She thought the Ice Queen was great company, even if she was a little cold. But her powers are amazing and Verre can't wait to be able to see her again.
